HARASSMENT POLICY
Cajun Con is dedicated to providing a harassment-free convention experience for every person regardless of gender, gender identity/expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of convention participants in any form. Convention participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the convention, without a refund, at the discretion of the convention organizers.
Exhibitors in the expo hall, sponsor, or vendor booths are also subject to the anti-harassment policy.
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the Cajun Con staff immediately. (Staff can be identified by t-shirts/special badges/headsets.)
Cajun Con staff will be happy to help participants contact hotel/venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the convention. We value your attendance and your safety is our primary concern.
We have a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for harassment of any kind, including but not limited to:
Stalking
Harassing photography or recording
Intimidation
Sustained disruption of Panels or other events
Offensive verbal comments
Bathroom policing
Physical assault
Inappropriate physical contact
Battery
Unwelcome physical attention
In relation, but not limited to:
Appearance
Gender identity
Religion
Gender presentation
Citizenship
Sexual orientation
Pregnancy
Race
Age
Color
Body size
National origin
Disability
Gender
If a person engages in harassing behavior, Cajun Con staff will take prompt action in any form they deem appropriate, including expulsion from Cajun Con with no refund. Our policy applies to EVERYONE at the convention. Exhibitors, fans (attendees), speakers, guests, professionals, press, staff, volunteers, and security are all subject to our anti-harassment policy and will be held to the same standards and disciplinary action.
